Cancer Support Community Pasadena is delighted to honor LeAnn and Michael Healy as the 2019 Individual Angel Award Honorees. The Healys are ardent supporters of CSCP, demonstrating compassion for our members and investing generously in our programs. A graduate of USC’s Marshall School of Business, Michael is a Senior Vice President at RBC Wealth Management and is a member of CSCP’s Board of Directors (President 2016-2018). He has served as President on other boards, including Chandler School Board, Harvard School Alumni Association, and Altadena Town & Country Club. Michael also mentors students in USC’s Marshall School of Business through its Career Advantage Program. LeAnn, a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Economics, earned her CPA and worked for Price Waterhouse. A longtime residential real estate agent, LeAnn currently works at Compass in Pasadena as a Director, Estates Division. She is a founding member of CSCP’s Guild, a past Gala Chair, and most recently, she oversaw the interior design of CSCP’s current facility, creating a warm and inviting environment for CSCP’s members. LeAnn also supports Al Otro Lado, Compassion International, Giveback Homes and is a member of Pasadena’s Garden Club. The couple has two sons: Patrick, who passed away from cancer in 2012, and Kevin, who lives in La Jolla and is a high tech entrepreneur.
CSCP is proud to recognize this special couple who continue to play an instrumental role in moving CSCP forward so that no one faces cancer alone.

With its rich history of valuing philanthropy as an important component of wealth management, Whittier Trust helps families create their legacies and make a positive difference on issues they care about in the community. To that end, Executive Vice President and Executive Director of Philanthropic Services Julie Nesbit and her staff are enduring ambassadors for CSCP, highlighting CSCP’s programs to clients interested in helping families facing cancer. By educating their clients about CSCP, Whittier Trust has guided valuable charitable giving to CSCP through family foundations and donor-advised funds. These families provide tremendous resources to nonprofits like CSCP so that we can continue to improve the quality of life for those who are impacted by cancer. CSCP extends its gratitude to Whittier Trust for continually keeping CSCP top of mind when providing philanthropic advice to clients whose charitable funding priorities are aligned with CSCP’s mission.
